Unpopular firearm opinions / stir the pot

Being covered in cosmoline guarantees that an SKS made in 1960 has never been fired, never been rebuilt and is unissued.
Just trust me.

I carry Glock so it’s a bit different for me (I have to upgrade from bull**** factory sights either way) but why not get a tritium front and blacked out rear since they’re going to be the same price anyway? If you’ve got redundancies for lights (as you should) why not add the option if all else is the same?
Why? Because about the narrowest front post you can get with a tritium vial is about 0.140”

Thick and chunky fronts aren’t fast for shooting. Block lots of the target at distance.

I like 0.100” - 0.115” front at the max. So fibers or black fronts for me.

Furthermore, it’s 2022… put a red dot on your gun and get those irons as low and out of the way as you can.
