Tree identification help

Looks very similar to a Virginia Live Oak. Especially with the short, thick trunk. I guess the key would be acorns or not.

Looks like an old, old crape myrtle to me.

Looking at the leaves, I agree with it being a crape Myrtle. Biggest one I've ever seen.
