Tree identification help

What kind of tree is this.

Someone told me hackberry but I dont think so.

Hackberry leaves are completely different.

Looks a little bit like a texas/mexican/black persimmon but I doubt one would be here.

This is in Greenwood SC. My buddy bought the house and the nice old lady that used to live there had a real green thumb planted alot of nice trees and plants.

He asked me what it was and I have no clue.
