Tragedy has struck my friend.

No parent should ever have to feel the pain of burying their child much less two of them. I will keep this family in my prayers...

She is inconsolable. This woman has not had an easy life, but has handled everything ever thrown at her. She's one of the strongest people I know. She is a detective on a local PD and was my best friend for many years. We drifted apart some after she got remarried to a very good man, but have always been close. She has been a major influence in both of my daughter's lives, too. My own wife lost it when she found out about this.

Oh man I am SO sorry to hear this awful news. Prayers for the Mother, and for the Father, too. He's got a rough road ahead too because of his choice at that moment. I have a daughter burried in Beaufort National Cemetary....it's not easy....GOD will carry them through.
