Torque wrench question

When I look at an assembled AR, the castle nut is one of the first things I examine.

It’s a litmus test.

The castle nut is so simple to properly install. If it’s installed improperly, then the entire gun is suspect. It’s so easy to do right that one can assume that more complicated parts are not installed correctly.

Kinda the same thing. On an AK, a crap rivet job would make me suspect the entire gun.

On roller lock HK’s, sloppy welds would make me doubt the rest of the gun.
