Check this out. River Bend Gun Club is having a Rifleman's weekend May 21st 2016. Looks like a CMP Garand match with lots of categories for you to compete. They also have a vintage bolt gun matches and vintage sniper matches. Carbine matches and good ol' Garand matches..

I have put this event on my calendar and plan to attend.

This is about 50 Minutes from me in Marietta.

Pretty easy to get to.

Maybe biker_bill could join in and explain some of the formats and give us some insight.

If you can swing it....let me know.

This is a really popular shoot, but I haven't shot it myself. They'll be a good crowd and a lot of smiling.
They'll be lots or real quality expert advice as well. It's not so much a competition as it is a good time. I mean they keep score, but few people care, lol. Some of these guys are top tier. When the bolt action guys shoot rapid fire some are so smooth it'll make you laugh.
