They most likely will do what they did on the PS3. You can't play PS2 games unless you buy them on the PSN (they make more money that way).

Thoughts on Sony Playstation 4

They most likely will do what they did on the PS3. You can't play PS2 games unless you buy them on the PSN (they make more money that way).
Rumor on price is $400-420 & $500-520 (2 versions of the PS4).
Its about bloody time! we should be up to PS7 by now!
My guess is MS is ready also so we will get 2 new consoles. Today I play much more on my Xbox than PS3 and I suspect that will continue since the PS4 controller doesn't look like its changed much from the 3. On the other hand it looks like Sony have learned there lesson on proprietary front and decided to go the Xbox path of repackaging a PC hopefully this will make the platform more competitive.
