Things that really hack me off.

Lunch today was 10 bucks, iced tea another $2.75 and tax was 75 cents for a grand total of $13.50. I laid a twenty on the table. The waitress swoops in and says "do you want any change back?".

I said yes, so she brings me back six singles, keeping the fifty cents balance.

This waitperson attitude these days pisses me off to no end.

What would you do??




I gave $2.25, plus the 50 cents "retained", for a total tip of $2.75. Comments??

I tend to over tip but I dont eat out very often anymore.

I had breakfast at a Waffle House the other morning and left a little middle aged waitress $10 tip.
I can’t even imagine working for $2-3 an hour +tips

These days it's entirely possible she couldn't do simple math. I hate when they ask you if you want to leave a tip when you run a credit card.

The price of a damn drink like your tea is ridiculous. I just get water these days if I eat out.
I tip on service rendered. Waitress gives me ****ty service (not kitchen/grill related) and waitress gets ****ty tip.
