Pulling the head off of a straight six in a older Ford F-150 slipped and the hood latch caught under my ribs and I hung there until someone lifted me off it. Broke 2 ribs

Way back in the early 80's i traded for a 65 GTO body. After putting in the motor and transmission from a catalina that the sheriff gave me (he confiscated it after a high speed chase) we realized we had no shifter. we pulled the linkage up through the hole in the console area and we took off. Sometime during our first joy ride the linkage fell back down and my best friend was laying down in the floor with his arm through the hole trying to get it back up so we could downshift due to car did not have any brakes at all. We were 50 MPH on a dirt road,dust blowing in through the hole in the floor,cant stop, oh did I mention there were no seats either. I was sitting on a 5 gal bucket !!!!!
