Found a new BiB. thendricks introduced me to this brand a while back. It's not as tannic as their barrel proof bourbon and pretty damn good.

Anyone try the new Old Forrester 1924 yet? Watched a few reviews of it and several comments I've seen is that it's a bit more oaky than the 1910 and 1920 versions.

It's also pricey from a few shops I've seen it at. $200 seems to be the going rate for a bottle.

Rumor is it's just 10 yr aged Early Times, left over from before Brown-Foreman sold the ET brand. Same mash bill as ET.

I'd like to try it, but I'm probably not a buyer at retail, much less $200+ secondary pricing.

Yep. I paid $115. The taste is that of an $80 bottle. I'll stick with 1920.
