That's not going to happen to me...

Lots of good YouTube videos on eating keto, reduced carbs. Sugar is the enemy of good health and long life.
Reading through a book called "Sugar Busters" now. I'm amazed at how many things are just slap full of added sugars and carbs. Most of my life has been supported by processed foods and waffle house, til now. I can sure tell a difference in how I feel when my sugar is up or down. Trying to get it smoothed out with a better diet.
My wonderful wife is super supportive and has been looking at our dinners based on carbs/sugars lately, instead of making me all my favorite foods that make me feel bad.
 
Been there and done that. Was a functioning drunk for several years in the late 90's... Slowed way down and now because of diabetes; haven't had a drink in 5 years or so.
I've lived in a whisky bottle for 3 years in the 90's. Still paying for it healthwise.
