Quit tobacco in 2010 and alcohol in 2004. I haven’t had a court date or a mattress fire since. It was fun while it lasted though.

I reckon most of us in the 50-70 year old range are paying the price for hard living. Can’t say they didn’t warn me

You can "get even." Quitting tobacco in 2005 was the big boost in health for me.

I quit cigarettes in 13. Snuff in 16. Drink too much though. Admittedly.
