Based on the photos you provided, it could be the type of phone/camera your using. Most phones/cameras have settings where you can change the image quality internally to produce larger jpgs. I take a lot of photos with my job both with my android phone and with my high end camera and I usually select one of the higher level image settings allowed on either device. After that, when I go to make changes to the image in photoshop I will save the image with a 300 dpi setting applied for the best clarity/optimization possible. Hope this helps. Welcome to the trader!
