T post fence….diy

I’ve decided to do a couple hundred feet of T-Post fence. Does anyone have any pointers and also I am looking to borrow a gas T post driver if anyone can help me out.

Do you have access to a tractor with a front loader? That’s how I placed mine. Took about 10 seconds per post.

Skid steer and a helper is the only way to do T posts. The bucket pushes the posts in like a knife through hot butter

Crossties for your corner posts, wood posts after every 3rd posts too. Cross braces on the corner using cross ties and first post on each side of the corners.

I ran about 350’ few months ago. Drove post by hand wasn’t too bad. Stretched with my Kawasaki mule Did h pst at corners and in middle of run

I was referring to what I run was old fashion hog wire topped with 2 strands of barbed wire.

We drive tposts every damn day. Today over 1000 tposts in the ground at minimum. All by hand and using an automated driver only slows you down. Posts driver with handles or sledge hammer does the trick!
