Good luck with that. IPv6 has to be one of the slowest adoption rates imaginable. I think everyone is still holding out hope that something better comes along.

Its because IPv6 will require new firmware and the re-writing of an epic amount of code. About Y2K level. Which is expensive. Which cuts into profits. So it will have to wait until the problem costs more than the cure.

Probably they will tweek subnets and router/hubs protocol software so that all the end devices that proliferate in business and private nets use relative addressing instead of a unique true IPs. Since the biggest block of address demand has been the proliferation of smart phones, doing the above to whole cellular nets would free up huge blocks.
