Brother.... I've been serving this Great Country of ours for almost 30yrs. It's these type of people, these type of suggestions that makes up for one of the reasons it's so great and you're apart of an awesome community here. We all have had times where we had to suck in that pride and look to our brothers and sisters for help. There's nothing wrong with it, there's absolutely no shame in it.
Can your unit take you under their wing and offer you "man days" and put you on orders for a time? I know that there has to be some available.
