After many years of hating my job as a Project Manager for UL, I finally landed the job I had chased after for almost a decade.....

I'm a GIS Administrator for the USFS. Main responsibility is coordinating GIS activity in our region for our national data library. The job pays about 1/2 of what I was making at UL, but I'm not stuck behind a desk all day and that is priceless to me.

Was a part owner/ division manager (Data Center and Mission Critical division) for a large electrical contractor. Worked all over US and Latin America. We sold the Company in 2000 and I took 4 years off. Got very bored and started my own consulting business advising owners and IT professionals how to construct and operate their data centers. Still working all over the world just not as much. Love it.
