Radar is literally everywhere circumnavigating the globe and continually recording, although the data has to be rewound and analyzed. China US UK Russia knows where it's at or where went off course., They're brainstorming to come up with the most palatable news story that doesn't scare the world and cause the markets to drop and the fragile world economies slump even further

The cell phone thing is easy to prove or disprove. If any of those phones have been turned on and linked up with a tower at any point the carriers would be able to see when and where.


My guess, and this is just a guess but I would imagine a 777 coming apart at 35000 feet while traveling at (Mach .84)638 miles per hour over water is going make it next to impossible to find any of the millions of tiny pieces that would be remaining.
