SIG Cross bolt actions are shipping

Introducing the all new 2020 SIG Cross Rifle, available in 3 Great calibers: SIG Cross 6.5 Creedmoor, SIG Cross 308 win, SIG Cross 277 Sig Fury.

The SIG Cross Bolt Action Rifle is Sig Sauer’s light weight 6.5 to 6.8 lb accurized Sniper Rifle. Its reinforced 3 lug 60 degree bolt design was created to safely handle the pressures of the new 277 Sig Fury cartridge. SIG Sauer’s 277 Fury cartridge is a new cartridge designed for the US Army’s next generation squad weapons program.

This SIG Cross Rifle is designed with a free floating barrel, Also the handguard is directly bolted to the 20 MOA upper receiver. Eliminating the need to mount the handguard to the barrel nut like most ar style rifles. Outfitted with a curved super crisp, clean trigger that is adjustable from 2.5 to 4.5 lbs.

So the Q fix by Sig Sauer?
More like Sig had been designing the rifle for years. KB went to sig, then left. Magically, the newly announced Q The Fix looked pretty well exactly like the Cross which had been in development at Sig. When KB announced the Fix, he was gonna make it a straight pull and easy switch barrel. It is neither. My guess is that those were going to be the big changes he made to the designs, but couldn't figure out how to do either. So what he put out was a prettied up and cerakoted knock-off of the Sig Cross.

This is correct.

Yup. When KB left SIG he took with him the engineers that were in charge of the Cross program. That set SIG back a bit.

So who is “first”? The company that developed the concept first, or the one that went to market first?

I’m unimpressed as a whole with “The Fix”. At that price, there should be consistent accuracy from rifle to rifle.
