Easy to charge more when there's tons of free money being thrown into the streets. Once that cow dries up, we'll see if prices settle, or if more craziness will ensue.

Don’t forget about mining being ‘an indoor, closed environment” and are found in places already overwhelmed by COVID like BraIl, where they mine Zinc and copper to make brass. Mines also produce precious Ammonium Nitrate for gunpowder. The silicon chip market needs the very rare Tantalum to be mined but most mines were shut down for more than 6 months and it takes a long time to restart a mining operation provided you have enough low wage Healthy people to run it. We are fortunate not to have Brazil’s problems. While in a recovery inflation is inevitable but killing the “very will to work” with Government Money is foolhardy at best and a drag on this country beyond Uncle Joes time left on Earth. Worse thing to happen now is a vaccine-resistant mutation and we start seeing the body count back up.
