Second thoughts on appendix carry

In for details regarding what happened.

I carry appendix, but I carry a DA/SA pistol, cocked and locked. (DA/SA without a safety would also be acceptable, I just prefer cocked and locked)

It concerns me a little when I see people slamming a Glock or similar striker fired gun into their appendix holster, with force and without looking, and just assuming something like this could never happen to them. 99.99% of them are right, but the possibility of this happening is the biggest reason that I generally don't use striker guns w/o a safety. It just isn't worth the risk. Hammer guns almost always have better triggers anyway.

Yep! Appendix carry is much more tacticool now. Skinny jeans, kydex, and striker fired guns are apparently not a good combination.
