Ya this thing wasnt even close. The vendor just emailed me back and said he would refund $24 of the $70 it cost me IF I leave him positive feedback. Im still trying to remember what exactly was positive about my experience. Guess I might recover some of my losses with the old cat, maybe.

I've used Widenation Recycling in Lilburn for scrap copper before (found about 30 feet of copper pipe in our crawlspace after we moved in), figured I might as well cash it in since the housing market took a dive right after we bought. Unsure if they'll take cats though. Will be following this, as I've got the downpipe with stock cat off my GTI sitting in my crawlspace now....

I tried to visit Rons core supply but he doesnt exist. I called Direct Metals and that sounds promising. Going to stop by on the way to work tomorrow and I'll update.
