Savage model 12FV Varmint Rifles for $319.99.....at Cabela's

When I first heard of this I thought that can't be right. However it seems like it is.

Now when will we see an influx of these rilfes posted in the For Sale section here :-)

I have no need for one. But that price is just crazy...and includes, .223, .22-250, .308, 6.5 Creedmore and .204 Ruger chamberings..

The way I read the rebate ($100 Visa Gift card?) was that the model 12's were not listed as part of that rebate. Which is confusing as its advertised right there with these guns. So if someone ends up getting one of these solely based on the rebate better check closely first to make sure this exact model is covered under that $100 rebate.

$319.99 is such a great deal even without the rebate. $219.99 would be near give away prices where I might even consider getting some to scalp here on ODT later.....which I have no doubt some forum members will do

These rifles are junk. Look at how badly the 308 grouped at 600 yards with 185 Berger over 41.6gr of Varget with only a different stock and a $300 scope. Don't waste your money, at least not until I can make it back up to Acworth!

Bummer, I think you're right. It lists 12FCV but not 12FV. Borderline false advertising. Still a killer deal, but probably not enough to make me buy a second one.

Savage CS says green light. The 12FV is part of the rebate. $219 plus tax. Gassing up the car now for the three hour round trip to Acworth.

Not sure I'd go to the store to buy one, do it online. Unless you do want the 22-250, as that is the only one not on back-order.
