It's average, which to me is perfect for a fighting pistol. Not too loose and not too tight.

Thanks. If I really spend some time with it, I could probably manage 2"x8 shot groups at 10 yards, but I will tell you that it loves my 16" steel at 100 yards.

For my first 1911 I have always wanted a Colt Combat Elite...however I have come to the conclusion that I will never be able to hand someone that much money for a gun that isn't signed by Oliver, William, or Crazy B!tch Winchester. Therefore I think this will do. Thanks for the informative review CCW. I only wish I could make grips like that.
