I know that’s right! Coat that stock down in Vaseline and let it sit for about 30 minutes then rub it down real good till it soaks in it’ll look brand new and won’t be oily

Yea, that's my next project. I wanted to get the rifle cleaned up first and then worry about the stock. I think this baby rode in a truck for many years so it's really in great shape considering. Just a few years worth of grunge through and through.
