Nikon. A good rimfire scope. Made for 22 ballistics. Good for the money. Nikon makes some good Ballistic matched scopes. Not very expensive either.

Make sure it will parallax down to at least 25 yards. What’s your rough budget?

Ruger American Rimfires 22LR got a Bushnell Banner, was suppose to be a short term, still there as it does everything I ask of it

Amen: less that $200 at most any Walmart. Incredible optics for the $$.

Any relative decent 4X.Why a fixed?It has few moving parts,so all the $$ is spent on its robust construction to give the user years of service.Unless your a competition shooter or have extremely poor eyesight,4X is a plenty IMHO for 99% of your hunting and plinking needs.

Nikon is out of the scope business. If you can snag one go ahead. For a hunting rifle set up the Vortex Dback 2-7×35 rimfire model is hard to beat. Parallax is set at 50 yards. That is what I run on my hunting 10/22. On my American I run a Weaver Classic Rimfire 2-7×28, no longer in production. Seems most scope are geared towards the arm chair operator crowd these days.
