I think Remington makes a good 1911 but another cookie cutter copy of these polymer guns isn't wanted, the market's flooded with them now.

Poor QC, failed products (R51 v1 and v2), law suits and selling out their customers. Meh, I'd say we're better off without them but they create competition which in turns spurs innovation in other companies.

They haven't done anything great since the 1100, which was a wonderful shotgun in it's day. I still carry one around the homeplace.
