Computer (WIN-11) issues

[GA 1911]

This is an old HP computer with Win-11.

I caught a bad bug that I can't get rid of. I tried everything including Settings- System- Recovery- Reset. That took 2 hours.

It is still slow then just freezes. Any tech here?

Try to download and install the free version of Malware bytes. It detects a lot of rogue junk and will remove it.

My daughter has an older laptop she uses with her Cricut and after, stupidly - me, upgrading to Windows 11 had all kinds of issues.
I took it back to Windows 10 and ALL problems went away. Just my experience.

Run malware bytes.
run a rootkit removal program Rootkit
run CCCleaner

First off, an older HP computer isn't even rated to run Win 11. Yes you can force the install if you know how, but its not rated for it for a reason.

I've tried all the malware programs. I have used W-11 for years with no problems.

I gave up and ordered a new computer (it was cheap). It was past time. I'll remove most programs and drill holes in the hard drive. And finish it off with a hammer.
