I still have one of those "little green army men" stuck on my dashboard that a lady gave me a few years ago as a reminder that we still have young soldiers serving in harms way.
Good, a store in Cleveland had a jar of them for folks to take one..to remind us to keep our Marines and Soldiers in our thoughts and prayers. It works.
Had a bunch of them when I was a kid. I ended up in the Navy 
Wonder if he is mopping the floor or operating a mine sweeper! Since these are from a different era my guess is they intended to sell him as a mine sweeper…

Man…we tied them to cars, glued them to airplanes, used them as targets, the ones we had got tortured bad but always came through !! Rough and tough just like our regular armed forces should be ! 
I remember cutting one’s head off with a knife and it went thru his neck and into my hand. Those were my first stitches
