Reloading kit recommendations

The kits are nice.
Most of the cheap electronic scales give you more head ache than they are worth. A cheap balance beam scale is more accurate, but you have to be willing to take your time and learn to read it properly.

If 223 is the biggest rifle cartridge you plan to reload, I would go with the all in one Lee Kit. If you plan on loading larger rifle calibers, I would go with the Hornady kit.

The only progressive press for me is a Dillon--any Dillon. I test ran a friends Hornady LNL progressive for 1000 rounds of 45ACP, and it was very problematic. I really wanted to buy one before I used it. I have not tried the RCBS due to its price, and the Lee just looks too rinky-dink for me to believe it is worth trying. I have been using a Dillon 550 for about 13 years and at least 50000 rounds. It works very well.

Like Chuckdog, I also use the Lee Classic Cast press for single stage reloading.
