relisted

I once spent a week soldering over 500 connections on an old style PCB to save my company the $9000 a new one would cost. Good ol' days of flux, an iron some wick and solder.

Nope. Barely a thank you.

I worked for a company that did cellular equipment installation for cell sites all over Georgia, Florida and Alabama. We were short on RIPs (Rack Interface Panels). We couldn't find any new ones anywhere but had old ones. I pulled out the wiring schematic for both the old and new and traced out which lines were different and proceeded to solder in the missing ones.
