Movie has gotten mixed reviews by the big movie critics, so that probably means it'll be pretty good. The same comment came from most of them though, "Don't compare it to the origional or you'll be disappointed.".

It does look like it will be very good as long as you go into like watching a new movie and not expecting it to be close to the original. I anticipate that most of the original plot and dramatic interaction will be replaced by mindless action ....

Well I saw this at Regal Hollywood 24 as 7:45 and there were MAYBE 15 people in the theater. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give it a 7.5

I told my wife I wanted to go see it and she said "Why, that movie is like 20 years old and you've seen it a hundred times"? I told her it was a remake and she didn't even know, LOL! I said haven't you even seen the commercials about it? Nope, she said. smh...

Well the theater was petty dead as a whole and they did have Red Dawn on like 3 screens.
