What say y'all? My view is to decriminalize it, tax it. Sell it. Recreationally. No use in jamming the CJ System with low level pot busts. It's kinda getting silly. Have your views changed?

Legalize and tax the crap outta it.....then money grows on trees! (and i can finally make money off my property lolol)
I have mixed feelings about it. I know a lot of people who do it for recreation and are RESPONSIBLE.
Then you come across someone who is lighting up in a McDonalds parking lot with kids in the car without seat belts....

If it were legalized, its position as a gateway drug would end. Billions spent on prosecuting and housing harmless pot smokers would no longer need to be spent.

I have a mixed opinion on it. In one way I can see it vastly reducing the population of inmates within the state and even county level detention centers and prisons. I could also see it being used as a gateway drug stopping or atleast slowing down, because at the end of the day there will be someone out there chasing a "better" high still. Legalization in my opinion would require vast regulation on it, i.e. where you can buy it legally, legal age of consumption, where it can legally be grown, ect. Legalization would open a huge can of worms for atleast the first few years of it being legal but at the same time the can almost needs to be opened.
