Question on shipping ammo.

I need to ship a box of ammo and I know I need to mark it ORM-D. Can I write that on the box or print it and tape it to the box? Does it have to be a certain color or size?

I tried printing it but my printer's out of blue ink and nowhere here carries the cartridges. Can I print it in all black or red?

The people at the UPS just mark the ORM-D with a black marker. Thats it.
