Depends on what you want. Pretty much everything I have wanted, is easy to find. AR's, Glocks, shotguns, etc... See them all the time, at normal pre-covid prices.

As for someone selling it for stupid prices... Sure. They have the right to ask whatever dumb price they want for their property. I also have the right to laugh in their face and tell them to pound sand.

But I do think that it is idiotic to buy readily available guns at normal prices, and then flip them here for huge profit on a regular basis, and the ATF tends to agree...

AMEN brother!!! This is the same with buying stocks, investments or anything related to retirement. You always want to buy low sell high, period!!! These people who are saying “I can get it cheaper” or “your just price gouging us” are the same ones who didnt buy anything when the prices were more normalized and thats NOT my fault. Current market value is what these prices are based on in our current circumstances. If people stopped buying like their life depended on it then the “market” would level back out, period. These are also the people saying I should sell WAY below market prices but yet this country thrives on capitalism. The moment consumers can no longer regulate their own supply and demand, to an extent, we become a socialist country but no body wants that right!? I beg to differ most truly want that: free healthcare, free housing, locked fuel prices etc but then scream about wanting less GOV getting involved. WTF people its all or nothing, cant have your cake and eat it too!!! Much love to all out there, stay safe and be prepared!!!

Saying "supply and demand" isn't some magical phrase that means anything in this context. Most dealers around here are charging everyday normal prices. If it truly was supply and demand, are they selling at a massive loss, just to be nice?

The fact that you are equating a gun that sells all over the place at $500 today, to you selling it used for $800 today... that that is somehow "just like buying a house 20 years ago and it appreciates in value", shows that you don't have an elementary school child's understanding of basic economics...
