well....I wont get into a debate in a public forum for its uselessness but it truly depends on what you believe. Lets put it this way on my thoughts, I am an open minded Christian, and for me I have yet to read where the bible says exclusively we are the absolute only ones in this life that have been created (we read we are not the only creatures made though), so with that It would not change/nor would it have to change my beliefs if other created beings showed up.

You can't tell me that out of all the billion of trillions of planets out there that we are the only planet the right distance for a heat source to susanne some sort of life.
