Pistol competitions, where to start?

An indoor USPSA match is more beginner friendly than most outdoor ones just due to space and rounds generally only traveling in one basic direction.

I would start there with whatever 9mm gun you own and feel most comfortable with. Virtually any holster will work to start and you could load from your pockets if you don't have any pouches. I wouldn't sink any money into it until you know your going to continue and get an idea of what division, gear you want to buy.

It may be one the best in GA, but there are some definitely bigger and better ones than Riverbend in the South.
