Picked up a MotoShot system

I'm talking about being able to use it in excess of 500yds.

A modern 2.4ghz radio on a relatively unobstructed area like a range should hit a mile reliably.

ETA:not trying to hijack your post, purpose built kit is always going to be better, but a recreational shooter can achieve much of the functionality for a fraction of the cost by modifying an existing hobby grade RC.

Obviously the MotoShot is not for the average recreational shooter. It's a good expense for my business, though, and I'll be able to use it with a wide array of targets in classes for pistol, carbine and Sniper/precision rifle.
