This Thread is Great to show love for our Pets, that once gave us great joy and companionship, but it breaks my heart to read!

To be honest, when they were that great of a pet, they still somehow manage to bring great joy and companionship......just in a different way. There's definitely sorrow involved, but the memories are invaluable.

All of ours have either been rescues or pups of our rescues.
My wife made this plaque when we adopted our last rescue after Finlay passed, no truer words said because I had got in a dark place after losing Finlay…

I go out every morning to change the batteries on her solar lights my wife made me put out for her because she was afraid of the dark

All gone. That’s just the ones on this phone over the last 10 years. Got a new pack (6) now. But those 2 aussies and the black cat are the ones I miss the most. Great thread to keep alive.

This is Missy my dog and Ron our cat. Missy passed on and this April will be two years. She was the best dog I eve had! I miss her every day. I hope she's waiting for me when I leave this earth! I'm sure she is because she waited every day for me when I was away! Ron is still with us. He's about 9 years old now and he misses Missy too! Especially at night....

Chester, my outdoor garage cat, he was 11 years old. He vanished 2 weeks before Bindi passed on. We think coyotes or stray dogs got him but we don't know. We hope he'll still show up one day

Every dog I've ever had was that way except my first dog I got as a gift, a female Rottweiler named Isis(the goddess of wind) because she farted when I picked her up. She passed in 2004 at 10 years old. The day we brought our daughter home from the hospital Isis wanted to sleep next to her crib every night or wherever my little girl was. She'd come into our room and wimper and cry for us to get up when my little girl would stir. I don't know about other animals but I believe with all my heart once you love a dog they develope a spirit or take part of yours
