Very cool. Im always checking gunstores out for a few particular firearms/ammo/ect. But I love a good accident every now and again.

So I went to Deer Creek Gun Shop. Which by the way has moved to Kennesaw next to Wildmans. I was in there to buy some percussion caps for a friend of mine for his birthday. So while I was there I accidentally bought a CVA Express 50cal double rifle.

Shot the double rifle today. 90 grains of ffg under a .490 ball and a .10 patch shot close to the same point at 50 yards. It is a hoot to shoot. Got a fair amount of attention on the line. Elevation is on at 50 but shooting Left. I did not take my drift and hammer so had to settle Kentucky windage. Well with how much right I had to aim it might better be Tennessee windage.
Pulling the triggers on both barrels at the same time makes for a real smoke cloud.
