Best thing I did was keep a detailed journal. A LOT happened. Even now I can go back and read it and have "Oh yeah!" moments.

Dang Bear, I didn't expect the picture to be this cool. I would say I'm jealous, but I'm more jealous of your next trip. I would love to do either and after seeing your pictures, I might start planning a hunt for 2018...

Here's the hook up. When I was in camp in the Save' there was a father and son hunting also. It was the father's 16th safari and his last (terminally ill). He told me I had hit gold on my first try with Mokore. It was the best operation and people he had ever dealt with. These are serious, but great, folks hunting in serious territory. Three years before I got there a PH was killed by being disemboweled by a Buff and the year before I got there a tracker was killed by an elephant. One of my trackers was back on his first hunt after being mauled by a leopard and he had also been bitten by a black mamba years before that. He was in a coma for three weeks, then woke up and he was fine. Make no mistake, hunting like this IS an extreme sport....and an absolute blast!
