Suppressors are disposable in my opinion. There's a life to them. Shoot them enjoy them and when you eventually destroy them replace them.

I’d be nice if the ATF looked at it that way.

They were bought to be used. They are made of metal and anything can be fixed. It is a question of being cost effective. Even if the company is around that is no guarantee of repairs or parts support.

It is just like a nice old gun. Likely the original company is long gone, but that doesn't stop you from shooting it.

I have an old 22 can that's seen a ton of rounds through it. Probably literally by weight. I use it whenever I want to. I know that it's eventually a wear item but as long as I don't explode the tube (serial) I can get it rebuilt buy any number of reputable SOTs.

AAC Octane 45, if i shoot a threaded pistol its normally on. If it ****s the bed then it happens. Not gonna lose any sleep over it.
