And even if some weird leaking chamber or what not, what would the odds of two seperate guns having the same malfunction.?

I have dreams like that all the time. The worst! Shooting and shooting and bullets just bouncing off perps!
that was my thought too but then I wouldn't think the gun would continue to cycle, esp through 4 of em. very strange happenings
NYPD uses Gold Dots in 9mm, don't they? Wonder if they were using that initial version of Gold Dot G2 that didn't expand so well. Purely speculating, it just made me think of the internet chatter last year or so about G2 Gold Dots not expanding.

My guess is they buy special ammo loaded very light since they shoot 12 people every time NYP discharges a firearm. I am surprised they only hit one bystander this time. 12lb trigger and 147gr ammo traveling at 450 fps. You know, for safety.
If it didn't expand wouldn't it penetrate even better?
