NRA Light Rifle Match Laborday Monday at Riverbend Gun Club

[10th Ammendment Yankee]

The sixth match of the 2023 NRA Light Rifle season will be held this coming Monday September 4th , 2023 – Labor Day - at River Bend Gun Club on the Jim Hinkle Rimfire range.
This match is the 50ft match. Sounds easy. The bullseye is the size of a pencil eraser and the 10 ring twice the size of your .22 ammo.
Rifle less than 8.5 pounds
trigger pull great than 2.5 pounds
Standing Unsupported no sling.




Registration will begin at 8:30AM with the first shot downrange about 9:30AM. A short sight-in period will be held.

Match Fees: RBGC Members: $15

Non-Members: $20

Juniors: $5



Course of fire: Registered, one 60 shot match using Any Sights at 50 feet, standing on A-32 targets



Scoring: Targets will be score by Competitors

Been there, shot that.
Two thumbs up.
It's fun.
And it's a game where your skill as a marksman, and your mental discipline not to be distracted from applying your technique, means so much more than how many dollars you invested in your equipment.

(But having a pretty light trigger does mean a whole lot. I benefitted from that.)
