Man those are huge! I have seen some big bob cats but nothing like those.
I wonder if those are some of Lewis Grizzards ex wives house cats?

Thanks. I am trapping in Meriwether. Unfortunately no coyotes. I truly believe the lone coyote that comes through is in a hurry to get out before getting whooped by a gang of bobcats! I haven’t found any fresh yote scat to suggest any are out there.

Well a great catch!

The Bobcat population may be reflective of the Cat population (competition for food etc).
I was reading where the theory of getting rid of predators will increase rabbit population , yes but then the strong rabbit population will mean that for example female Cats will have 2-3 kits versus one due to abundant food.

I agree with that. When I pulled up early in the am a couple nights ago I saw a rabbit bounce off in the thicket. Even with all these bobcats in the area the rabbits are still surviving.
