New Public Range in East GA

What's new fellas?

Any 2024 updates?

Howdy,

We are always working on improving the range. Night shoots every friday night until we get to the bright months of the year.

The most notable recent improvements are

1. Ever expanding steel targets put up on the LARP field, 550yd range and 900yd range
2. We recently got our FFL/SOT in so we can process guns and cans on range. Members are able to use their cans here prior to clearance of their form 4.
3. 200 yd rimfire range with ~15 steel targets from 50-200yds.
4. A variety of different stage style PRS barricades

For the future we are working on

1. classes from instructors on a variety of different shooting disciplines
2. Intro to night shooting class so folks can learn about and try out night vision before making the $$$ plunge in that world
3. We are building out what we call the thunder dome. It will be a wrecked car or two with steel targets and such so folks can run vehicle style drills
4. PRS competitions
5. A dedicated 900Yd range shooting platform
6. Etc...

2024 will be a very exciting year for NGWC

Yep our LARP field and pistol bay are perfect for this type of shooting

They just updated their setup in the pistol bays, you definitely can do a lot of drills there.

Might have to check it out sometime. Got a range on my property but restricted to just over 100 yards. Would love to stretch the legs of the 50 cal. Have anything on the range I can hit with API rounds?
