New firearms terminology

Forgot about that one. It has a fold-down grip on the front, doesn't it?

That it does, but I prefer to shoot it without the foregrip. With the weight of the all-steel construction, and the 6" ported barrel, a good stance and grip controls it just fine.
 
I have never seen the 93R in person. Remember drooling over the pics when I was a kid.
APS was not in the front line service anymore when I started to get interested in guns. Replaced by AKS-74U. But thousands of APS were still 8n the warehouses, just in case.
 
An assault pistol is used to shoot victims.
A target pistol is used by Olympic athletes to shoot paper, then it's locked up.
A good pistol is one that's been melted down to go into a tax payer funded million dollar sculpture that signifies unity against 'gun violence.'
