New bee species feeds off of human sweat

I remember reading about sweat bees in the 70's, as a kid. This must be just a new species of them. I think that's what's attracted to the No Gnatz spray when I'm at the range. No gnatz just a dozen or so of those hummers. I thought I'd stepped on a nest the first time.

It's obvious that "They" are ignorant because we have known about them for a long time here in the South. I've seen them all my life. Maybe it's just that they don't sweat much up north so they haven't seen them before...

i think they just finally got their faces out of the starbucks and mcdonals long enough to notice them.......

Im not postive, but Im thinking it a different bee and the new one lives off only the sweat...but Im not positive.

I recently had a honey bee land on my hand and start licking the sweat off of it. Could be I guess.
