I am not sure this is even feasible.

But I have a nice shed at a property in North Carolina.

I am considering having it moved to my place in north Georgia.

it is a 10 x 16 smart barn in nice shape.

move would be approx 175 miles from NC to GA .

Both pick up and delivery locations are easy level access for truck/trailers.

anyone that could do this ?

With all the over-sized shipping requirements now, it will probably be cheaper to build or buy a new one here.

No way you can pare it down to 8.5 feet in width?

How about selling it to a local NC buyer
so the delivery would be a short drive, preferably without using interstates or US highways, so any alleged violation of "oversize load" laws wouldn't be noticed?

You could even advertise with flyers at the local store or pass out flyers to some of your neighbors that own a decent size piece of property but don't already have a barn or big storage shed.
Then use that money, plus some extra of your own, to buy or build what you need in Georgia.

Hire a heavy equipment rollback tow truck. The bed should wide enough to accommodate.

That is, if the cost is worth your while.

Still need to get an over size load permit and follow the rules. No driving at night, no driving on Sunday, approved route, etc. The good news is you do not need escort driver/drivers.

thanks for all the great info !

wasn't really sure the laws and logistics.

I am considering selling there local.

It has some sentimental value ie; relative passed during the year of 'suck'. Was just installed in May 2016, w/100yr floor,+ insulation, +elec work.
still looks like new.
