Growing up, I was fed beef tripe from time to time, mainly because it was cheap. Grew up, got a job, supported myself, moved out and never ate tripe again.

I saw some in Publix yesterday @ $11/lb! From trash meal to gourmet delicacy in less than 50 years.

Chicken wings, Select grade beef, ox tails, ribs, salt pork.....loads of trash foods have become "boutique" as far as pricing goes.

This is going to hurt a lot of you but for me it's boiled peanuts. I can only imagine the texture being similar to chickpeas/garbanzo beans or water chestnuts. Can't do it.

Chicken wings used to be the cheapest cut of chicken you could get not anymore. I have tried most of the stuff on the list but I will not can not drink milk. I know it’s crazy but I haven’t drunk milk in 57 years and have no plans to start

Boiled peanuts. Had them one time when I was a kid and they taste like they smell, like a warm aquarium that hasn't been cleaned in months

Well that confirms it. I don't regret not trying them.

Now I love both of those! Have to say the Chinese and the Germans both make the best pig feet. Properly cooked ox tail is awesome!
